Ayrshire Cattle Society of Great Britain and Ireland is dedicated to keeping the Ayrshire at the forefront of modern dairying.
The Society functions are membership driven by participation at grass roots level through local club events, with a council of breeders overseeing policies, and with day to day operations managed by the Breed Manager and a small staff led by the Office Manager.
The Ayrshires website brings together two parts of the business; the first is the Ayrshires Society, where users can share events, news and search the pedigree Ayrshire database; the second is cattle services, their aim is to market and supply Ayrshire semen, sourcing the best genetics.

Detailed sire data is imported into the website database at every quarterly proof run from an external source.
Sire data such as management traits and conformation are plotted onto charts as a visual aid for the user.
